About The Position

Securitas USA is looking for dedicated individuals to join our Security Team as Weekend Security Officers. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, and preserving order. Security Officers enforce regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the property. A significant part of the role involves providing customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. We offer comprehensive training for those new to the security industry, especially those with backgrounds in retail, food service, or hospitality.

Requirements

Driver certification required
TWIC card
Strong customer service skills
Ability to complete patrols
Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer)
Must pass drug screen and background check
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Nice To Haves

Prior security/customer service experience is a plus
Retail, food service or hospitality industry background

Responsibilities

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Performs frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
Provides customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
Actively monitors the premises and patrols various locations.
Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
