About The Position
Christwood, a vibrant and respected continuum care community in Covington, LA, is seeking a skilled Weekend RN (Registered Nurse) to join our team in the Health Center. This role is for a compassionate and dedicated RN looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Weekend availability required (day and/or night shifts)
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years of experience in long-term care, hospice, or a related setting
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document care accurately and timely using our electronic medical record system
- Provide guidance and support to LPNs and CNAs during shifts
