About The Position

The Weekend RN supports safe, consistent resident care across the weekend shift (7a–7p) by combining strong clinical judgment with clear team coordination. This role is essential to maintaining care quality, documentation accuracy, and timely response to resident needs in a post-acute setting. Key responsibilities include supervising assigned nursing staff, providing direct RN care, completing and documenting resident assessments, supporting individualized care planning, reinforcing resident rights and facility policies, addressing resident/family concerns, and contributing to continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
• 3+ years of nursing experience (long-term care/skilled nursing preferred)
• 1+ year of nursing administration experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to work weekends

Nice To Haves

• Preceptor Training completed or willingness to complete upon hire
