About The Position
New York Pilates (NYP) is a movement at the intersection of music, fashion, and culture, with studios across NYC and the Hamptons. They offer an elevated experience focused on energy and community. NYP is seeking exceptional Weekend instructors (Friday-Sunday) who are community builders, relationship creators, and brand ambassadors. The ideal candidate will know students by name, create unforgettable experiences, and foster loyalty among clients.
Requirements
- 400+ hour Pilates certification
- Live within 15 miles of the teaching market
- Prior group reformer teaching (8+ machines)
- Passion for culture, students, and connection
- Commitment to weekend shifts (Fri-Sunday)
Responsibilities
- Lead iconic NYP reformer classes with our signature programming.
- Teach a consistent schedule (open to teaching Friday, Saturday, and Sundays).
- Represent NYP with professionalism, charisma, and authentic style.
- Build community in class, online, and through events.
