About The Position
Are you looking for a weekend-only position? Join our team with the City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department! The Weekend Park & Facility Maintenance position will work every Saturday and Sunday beginning on April 15 thru October 31 plus City holidays, 12-16 hours per weekend. The shift begins at 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Work includes emptying downtown trash cans, removing downtown litter, unlocking and cleaning park restrooms, shelters, and general park cleanup. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Successful candidates must pass a background check.
