About The Position
NurseCore is seeking a skilled tracheostomy and G-tube nurse for weekend overnight shifts to provide one-on-one care for an adult male patient in the comfort of his home. Recent hands-on experience and competency with both skills are essential for this case.
Requirements
- Recent hands-on experience caring for patients with G-tubes and tracheostomies.
- Active Nevada LPN or RN license.
- Minimum of one year of post-graduate nursing experience.
- Current hands-on BLS/CPR certification.
- Negative TB test completed within the past year.
Responsibilities
- Provide tracheostomy care and monitoring.
- Perform airway assessments and suctioning as needed.
- Administer and monitor oxygen therapy.
- Administer medications as ordered.
- Provide G-tube care and enteral feedings.
- Manage Foley catheter care.
- Monitor wound care needs.
- Perform ongoing assessments to ensure patient safety.
