About The Position
Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a dedicated Weekend On-Call RN to join their care team. This role provides clinical support to patients and families during weekends, from Friday evening to Monday morning, addressing urgent needs, offering guidance, and providing emotional support. Requirements
- Current Georgia RN license
- Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and automobile insurance
- Clinical confidence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to comfort-focused care
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Hospice or home health experience
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to on-call needs for symptom management, comfort care, and emotional support
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care per physician orders
- Educate patients and caregivers about disease progression, nutrition, and self-care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure continuity of care
- Document all interventions and communications accurately and in a timely manner
