About The Position
Aegis Living Shoreline is looking for a Nurse to provide quality care to our residents. This role offers consistent hours, a move away from fast-paced hospital environments, and opportunities for career growth into management. Nurses will have set schedules with flexible options, a focus on clinical expertise, and a clear career path. The Wellness Nurse is a key part of the nursing team, using healthcare expertise to foster an environment of optimal living for residents. Nurses will offer clinical expertise to senior residents through ongoing assessments and monitoring of their health and well-being. Aegis Living Shoreline is an Assisted Living community where nurses are supported by Caregivers, Medication Technicians, and the Health Services Director.
Requirements
- RN/ LPN License that is active and in good standing
- A passion to work with our amazing seniors!
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work hard, support your team and build fun into the job
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
Responsibilities
- Wound care
- Medication Management
- Provide nursing services to residents
- Communication with families and physicians
- Conduct fall risk assessments, skin assessments, pain assessments, Fast Scale assessments
- Hands-on nursing care
- Coordinate resident care with residents, families, and physicians
- Communicate care plan changes to staff
- Audit eMARS, med cart
- Participate in training of care staff
