About The Position

The Congregation of Holy Cross in Notre Dame, IN is looking to hire two part-time Weekend Nurses, LPN or RN, to provide care and support to the men residing in our religious community. This position offers a competitive starting pay range of $34.00 to $48.00/hr for RN and $28.00 to $32.00/hr for LPN, plus an additional shift incentive bonus of $2.00/hour. This part-time position receives Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays. Additionally, we offer social events throughout the year, continued training, and pay increases. The Congregation of Holy Cross is a community of Catholic, apostolic priests and brothers. Our distinctive charism and trust in Divine Providence have guided Holy Cross members to found world-renowned institutes of Catholic higher education, parishes across the United States and Mexico, along with other important ministries on five continents. This includes Holy Cross House, our private, non-licensed facility that provides assisted living and skilled care to the members of the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Requirements

• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Current and valid Registered Nurse or LPN license in the State of Indiana
• Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 25 pounds
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to remain focused while performing multiple tasks and providing leadership
• Compassionate, detail-oriented and organized

• Providing care for the residents of the Holy Cross House.
• Learning and understanding the needs of our residents, offering interaction in a loving and caring manner.
• Providing medical, nutritional, emotional, and/or spiritual care.
• Providing nursing care to our residents with compassion.
• Providing consistent work and making routine decisions.
• Maintaining confidentiality and following work instructions accurately and safely.
• Remaining calm under pressure and offering leadership to the nursing team.
• Proactively communicating and offering a positive attitude.
