About The Position
Join us at the Nexus of care and compassion. As a weekend nurse supervisor (RN), you will be responsible for the resident care of your unit. This role requires working every weekend from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You will supervise activities performed by nursing assistants and other nurses in your unit, chart and maintain documentation for residents, and prepare and administer medications. Developing and maintaining a positive working rapport with all team members is also a key aspect of this position.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- No history of abuse or neglect
- Current CPR certification.
- At least three years experience in long term care.
- A positive communication style
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the resident care of your unit.
- Supervise activities performed by nursing assistants and other nurses in your unit.
- Chart and maintain documentation for residents.
- Prepare and administer medications.
