About The Position

Emergency One is looking to hire Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for weekends in our Kingston office. Consider joining a well-established privately held Urgent Care practice providing quality healthcare services to the communities we serve. In that time we have expanded our location in Kingston to also include facilities in Hyde Park, New Windsor and Poughkeepsie. Requirements

Master's degree from accredited institution and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP) for NPs.
NCCPA Certification for PAs.
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York.
ACLS certified.

Responsibilities

Provide medical treatment, consultation and diagnosis to an ambulatory walk-in community.
Select, order, perform and interpret tests.
Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patient.
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care.
Perform procedures including laceration repair, management of orthopedic injuries, and provide referrals to medical specialists.
Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
Provide occupational health physical examinations and interpretation of OSHA based tests.
Attend to emergencies as needed.
Complete thorough documentation.
