About The Position

A loving, easygoing family in Charleston, SC is seeking a WEEKEND NANNY for their TWIN GIRLS. The position requires working two consecutive days per week, from 8 AM to 8 PM, starting August 1st. The ideal candidate will be experienced, high-energy, and deeply engaging, with strong twin experience and a solid understanding of early childhood development. The role is based in a safe, walkable Charleston neighborhood with easy access to parks and infant activities. The family seeks nannies who are warm, positive, proactive, and genuinely love being part of a team, with a can-do attitude. A valid driver’s license is required, and the family will provide a car for both on-duty and personal use. Domestic travel is a possibility, with all expenses covered, as the family spends time at their homes on Kiawah Island and Palmetto Bluff. Comfort with two friendly golden retrievers is important. The parents are active and describe themselves as relaxed, kind, and devoted to their girls. Strong cooking skills are a welcome bonus, though the family often orders in. The hourly rate is open, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE OR AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
  • NON-SMOKER
