About The Position
Life’s At Home Care is seeking a Weekend Lead Care Provider (Floater) to deliver high-quality care and support their team across Hampton Roads. This role involves covering weekend shifts, supporting other caregivers, and ensuring families receive comfort, connection, and peace of mind.
Requirements
- Active PCA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant certification (Required – No Exceptions)
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Compassion, reliability, and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Travel between client homes across Hampton Roads
- Cover weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
- Support and guide caregivers in the field
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding)
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- Provide medication reminders and documentation
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with client transitions and urgent coverage needs
