About The Position

This position involves performing moderate and high complexity testing according to CLIA standards in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and coagulation. The role requires obtaining data for disease diagnosis and treatment, performing quantitative and qualitative procedures, and maintaining detailed records of all tests performed. The technician will also be responsible for reporting test results to authorized personnel and will work independently. A key responsibility includes performing phlebotomy on ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations. The position offers a weekend package with on-call duties from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 5:30 AM, with additional hours available as needed. Candidates must work at least one weekend per quarter and be willing to work on-call and weekends.

Requirements

• MT, MLT, MLA, CLA, or Bachelors of Science degree in chemistry or biology.
• Must have good vision and verbal skills.
• Must be able to perform well under pressure and cope with a variety of situations.
• Must be willing to work on-call and weekends.
• Must work at least one weekend per quarter.
