URGENT HIRING - Weekend In-home Caregiver / CNA
About The Position
ComForCare is urgently hiring weekend caregivers to provide in-home senior care and personal support to older adults throughout Central DuPage County, Illinois. The role is intended for experienced caregivers, CNAs, home health aides, and others who want to help seniors maintain comfort, dignity, and independence at home. Caregivers provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and support during weekends. The posting offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and support from a team that includes RN assistance. Part-time, full-time, and additional weekend hours are available.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, home health aide (HHA), personal care assistant (PCA), or senior caregiver is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing excellent care.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality client care.
- Comfortable completing a background check.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with in-home care, elderly care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, companion care, or private-duty caregiving.
- CNA, home health aide, or personal care assistant experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate weekend in-home care and companionship to senior clients.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide toileting assistance, incontinence care, and personal care while maintaining clients’ dignity and respect.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, repositioning, and fall-prevention support when needed.
- Support clients with daily routines, errands, and household needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve clients’ quality of life.
- Observe client needs, follow care plans, and communicate updates to supervisors and families.
