URGENT HIRING - Weekend In-home Caregiver / CNA
About The Position
ComForCare is urgently hiring weekend caregivers to provide exceptional in-home senior care and personal support for older adults throughout Central DuPage County, Illinois. This role is ideal for experienced caregivers, CNAs, home health aides, and individuals with a passion for helping seniors maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence at home. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will provide meaningful care, companionship, and assistance while helping clients feel safe, supported, and cared for during weekends. Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, home health aide (HHA), personal care assistant (PCA), or senior caregiver preferred.
- Experience with in-home care, elderly care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, companion care, or private duty caregiving is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing excellent care.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality client care.
- Comfortable completing background check.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Auto Insurance.
- Reliable Transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with in-home care, elderly care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, companion care, or private duty caregiving is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate weekend in-home care and companionship to senior clients.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide toileting assistance, incontinence care, and personal care support while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention support when needed.
- Support clients with daily routines, errands, and household needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve clients’ quality of life.
- Observe client needs, follow care plans, and communicate updates with supervisors and families.
