About The Position
The Houseperson is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. This role requires a positive, "can-do" attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The position is part-time and requires availability on Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach over shoulders repetitively.
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all public space in the hotel is clean and well maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues to Supervisor or through Work Order program.
- Assist Room Attendants and Laundry attendants as necessary throughout the shift.
- Removal of trash and soiled linen from Room Attendant carts.
- Assist in setting up, tearing down, and removal of trash from meeting rooms.
- Assist guests as needed.
- Assist in delivery of clean linens to storage rooms or carts.
- Assist in removal of soiled linen and terry from guest rooms.
- Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
