About The Position

We are hiring dependable individuals for weekend housekeeping positions in the Plaquemine Area at a medical facility. This is a great opportunity for those looking for a weekend job where they can work independently and earn extra income. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the building, including patient areas, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Specific duties include cleaning floors, walls, furnishings, and equipment, as well as performing floor care such as buffing, scrubbing, and operating floor machines. Overnight responsibilities also include trash removal and restocking supplies.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties and maintain the overall cleanliness of the building, including but not limited to floors, walls, furnishings, vents, restrooms, and all equipment.
Vertical and horizontal dust the furniture, cabinets, windowsills, and bookcases.
Sweep, mop, sanitize, and maintain patient areas.
Keep the environment clean, safe, and professional.
Pass quality control inspections.
Perform floor care including buffing, scrubbing, and mopping (overnight).
Operate floor machines such as buffers, auto scrubbers, and vacuums (overnight).
Clean and sanitize restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas (overnight).
Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout assigned areas (overnight).
Remove trash and replace liners (overnight).
Dust and disinfect surfaces (overnight).
Restock cleaning supplies when needed (overnight).
Follow safety procedures and facility cleaning standards (overnight).
Complete assigned tasks during scheduled shift (overnight).
