About The Position
Capitol View Home HealthCare has been a trusted provider of skilled and non-skilled home health services for over 27 years, serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care while supporting our caregivers with consistent communication and a team that has your back. We are currently seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide weekend care coverage across Washington, D.C. All weekend shifts are available day, evening, and overnight — offering flexibility and consistent weekend opportunities.
Requirements
- Licensed Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work scheduled weekend shifts consistently
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans
