About The Position
Capitol View Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) for weekend PRN opportunities throughout Washington, DC. Our clients need reliable care seven days a week. If you're looking for weekend hours to supplement your income, work around another job, or build a schedule that fits your life, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide training/certification meeting Washington, DC requirements
- Dependable transportation to client assignments
- Reliable Saturday and/or Sunday Availability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in clients' homes
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR/BLS Certification preferred
- Previous Home Health or Personal Care Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Assist with toileting and activities of daily living
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Follow the established plan of care
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Complete required documentation
- Help clients remain safe and comfortable at home
