About The Position

Kristen Distributing Company is seeking a Part Time Weekend Grocery Merchandiser to join their team. The primary goal of this role is to help increase sales and maintain outstanding relationships with all accounts by stocking shelves and floor/end displays. The company is a local, family-owned beverage distribution company with a history dating back to 1930, committed to providing exceptional beverages and fostering an environment of personal independence and employee development.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical fitness and stamina to lift, move, and stock merchandise.
Attention to detail.
Dependable and punctual with the ability to maintain a regular work schedule.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to collaborate with the account manager and contribute to account satisfaction.
Ability to follow established guidelines and work independently when required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in merchandising or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize product in the back-stock area of each account.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays at accounts.
Communicate pertinent information regarding retail account activity to the direct supervisor.
Identify and remove damaged, dented, or expired products from shelves, notifying the direct supervisor.
Maintain proper product rotation to uphold freshness and quality standards.
Foster positive customer relations and maintain a friendly demeanor.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
