About The Position
This position is for a Weekend Forming Operator responsible for operating forming machinery, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring product quality according to Process Instructions. The role involves various levels of technical knowledge and responsibility, ranging from Level 1 to Level 3.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and be conversant in the English language.
- Ability to perform basic computerized time clock data entry.
- Team-oriented with a strong level of independence.
- Detailed oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Operating forming machinery, which may include cutting, knifing, band sawing, deburring, sanding, cleaning, and packaging products.
- Ensuring adherence to Process Instructions and ATI process and quality standards.
- Loading and unloading mold forming fixtures and parts.
- Using a router and/or band saw to trim parts.
- Maintaining a clean workstation.
- Performing general maintenance and mechanical changes of equipment under direct supervision.
- Reading, recording, and using measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, Vernier calipers, and micrometers.
- Recording necessary information for output monitoring, quality verification, and production reporting.
- Entering production job data and managing time clock entries in the database system.
- Communicating "out of tolerance" conditions and documentation discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Following and practicing safety procedures.
