About The Position
Looking to Earn Extra Income on the Weekends? Dryer Vent Superheroes of Cincinnati is hiring a Weekend Field Service Technician for Saturdays and Sundays. This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay active, work with their hands, meet new people, and earn extra income through performance-based work. This is a great fit for someone in trade school, college, HVAC training, or anyone looking for a productive weekend side hustle with upside. In this role, you will help clean, inspect, repair, and maintain dryer vent systems for residential and commercial customers. You will work in the field, interact directly with customers, and help deliver a professional service experience. This is a weekend-only position , primarily for Saturdays and Sundays . Because this is a weekend support role, a take-home company vehicle is not provided . Technicians in this role will report to a designated technician location to pick up the company van before beginning the day’s route.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Comfortable using tools and working with your hands
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus; HVAC or home service experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable lifting equipment and working in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs
- Comfortable using smartphone- or tablet-based technology for documentation
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus; HVAC or home service experience is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, repair, and maintain dryer vent systems
- Identify safety concerns and airflow issues
- Educate customers on recommended services, repairs, and upgrades
- Assist with reroutes and vent modifications as needed
- Maintain accurate notes, photos, and service documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Follow company safety procedures and service standards
- Continue improving through training and hands-on field experience
