Weekend Day Shift Caregiver
About The Position
Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate and hardworking individuals to join their team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this role, you will make a profound positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities as they learn, work, and play in their communities. DSPs provide essential caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. They also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals and support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those supported. The company offers training for success and values a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have valid automobile insurance
- Basic computer skills
- Pass a background and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
- Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those supported.
