About The Position

RLS is a nationally recognized 3PL cold chain solutions provider offering warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services to the frozen and refrigerated food industry. Founded in 1968, RLS is a family-owned company that is growing rapidly and looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join their team. The Weekend Customer Service Representative, Cold Storage carries out all customer service activities, including processing paperwork to maintain accurate inventory, generating required documentation for customer work orders, setting appointments for incoming and outgoing activity, maintaining accurate procedures for all accounts, answering phones and emails, checking in/out drivers, and corresponding effectively with customers. Coverage at offsite locations may occasionally be required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
General office skills with the ability to multitask
Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with software and personal computers
Willingness to participate in company training programs
Light lifting (under 20 lbs)
Ability to stand 2–4 hours
Minimal freezer exposure (as needed)
Standard office noise environment; accurate vision for computer work

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and process orders promptly, courteously, and effectively
Handle phone and email communication
Greet visitors and assist with scheduling
Check in/out drivers as needed
Provide coverage in the absence of coworkers
Help maintain the driver waiting area/lobby
Perform clerical duties as required
All other duties as assigned by management
