About The Position
As a Custodian at Verde Clean, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of our facilities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional service and making a positive environmental impact. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone, contributing to Verde Clean's mission of providing clean spaces while supporting sustainability and community well-being.
Requirements
- At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Restock restrooms with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
- Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
- Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members.
