About The Position

Lifeline Homecare is hiring Caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home services to clients in Nelson County. The organization has served Kentuckians since 1989 and aims to help clients remain at home while receiving the care they need. Caregivers assist with activities of daily living and use a mobile application to record work time and detailed care notes.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
• Read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Have reliable transportation, adequate liability insurance, and a driver's license.
• Have a negative TB test and undergo annual screening.
• Pass a criminal background check, including the Nurse's Aide Registry.
• Pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with non-medical activities of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, chores, personal care, and transportation.
• Immediately report any suspected incident of abuse or neglect to a supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance according to company policy.
• Use a mobile application to clock in and out and maintain or enter detailed daily care notes.
