About The Position
The Palms of Mt. Pleasant is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers to join our team! If you have a heart for helping seniors and enjoy building meaningful relationships, we'd love to hear from you. Although we are an assisted living facility, our caregivers provide one-on-one care, assisting one resident at a time. This allows you to focus on delivering personalized, quality care without being responsible for multiple residents at once.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care
- Must be able to pass all required background screenings
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Observe and report any changes in residents' condition
- Work alongside a compassionate team dedicated to exceptional senior care
