Weekend Caregiver (Sammamish, WA)
About The Position
Visiting Angels Kirkland is seeking compassionate, certified, and experienced Caregiver Angels to join their award-winning team serving residents of King County. This role involves working one-on-one with clients in their homes to ensure they can remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Client care includes companionship, light hands-on assistance, heavy hands-on personal care for bed-bound individuals, and end-of-life hospice care with nurse delegation. Responsibilities may include assisting clients with errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal planning/cooking, personal care, and providing companionship. The agency offers a variety of shifts (short, long, overnight, live-ins) and works around the caregiver's availability and preferred work locations. Requirements
- Certified and experienced Caregiver Angels
- HCA CNA Exemption Letter with Active NAR
- Driver's License if applicable
- Work Authorization: United States (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Homecare Aide Certification Training (offered by agency if not certified)
- Military experienced candidates
- Gaps in resume, or have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
- All ages (over 18 years), including older job seekers
- Nursing students to enhance their caregiving skills
Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with clients in their home
- Ensure clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent
- Provide companionship
- Offer light hands-on assistance
- Provide heavy hands-on bed bound personal care
- Assist with end of life hospice care with nurse delegation
- Assist clients with errands
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with meal planning and cooking
- Provide personal care
