About The Position
The Palms of Mt. Pleasant is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in an assisted living facility. This role focuses on delivering personalized, quality care to a single resident at a time, allowing for meaningful relationship building and focused assistance with daily living activities.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care
- Must be able to pass all required background screenings
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Observe and report any changes in residents' condition
- Work alongside a compassionate team dedicated to exceptional senior care
