Weekend Caregiver or CNA

We proudly serve the Tri‑Valley and surrounding Alameda County communities, including Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors, adults, and children with disabilities throughout Alameda County over the weekends. Guaranteed Hours between 7am and 11pm Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours. At ComForCare, you are treated as a valued professional, not just a number. Requirements
- Weekend availability
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain registration before hire
- Reliable transportation, requirement to travel anywhere in Alameda County
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)
- Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingess to obtain
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia
- Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- On-call is an option. If on-call, the hired candidate will be paid for the entire time they are on-call, working or not.
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate service documentation
