About The Position
Now Hiring: Weekend Home Health Aide / CNA We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join our team for weekend shifts (Friday evening through Sunday evening). At Independence Home Health, we desire to provide quality professional medical care while emphasizing the importance of individual freedom. We understand the concept of "Home" While providing quality professional medical care and understanding the importance of following guidelines and regulations, we spend much of our time focusing on the individual's vital role in having input and decision making freedom regarding their own healthcare. It is our desire to integrate our services into the home setting while showing respect for the individual by facilitating and incorporating a collaborative plan of care. Through our many years in the home care field we have seen when the customer and/or family has an active part in the planning and implementation in the plan of care, a sense of belonging and self-worth surfaces which ultimately produces increased quality of life, therefore enhancing the holistic healing process.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, or home health aide preferred (training available)
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered
- Must be available to work the full weekend schedule
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Support individuals with meals, activities, and light housekeeping
- Promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being
- Follow individualized care plans
