About The Position
My Gym Children's Fitness Center is seeking an energetic and outgoing Weekend Party Specialist to host amazing birthday parties for children aged 1 to 5. These parties are filled with games, obstacle courses, music, and continuous fun. The ideal candidate is comfortable being silly, possesses strong classroom management skills, and enjoys an active role.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children (teaching, childcare, camps, coaching, etc.).
- Loves being active, energetic, and entertaining.
- Dependable and can commit to working one weekend day most weekends throughout the year.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has an upbeat personality that children naturally respond to.
- Preschool teacher, elementary school teacher, daycare teacher, paraeducator, camp counselor, or education major background is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Entertain and engage children during birthday parties.
- Lead games, songs, obstacle courses, and group activities.
- Create an incredible experience for birthday families and their guests.
- Work alongside an experienced My Gym teacher, as each party is staffed by two instructors.
- Bring enthusiasm, confidence, and positive energy throughout the party.
