Weekend Bailer Caregiver (Full-Time Schedule in Two Days!)
About The Position
Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team in a Weekend Caregiver role —working full 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and enjoying the rest of the week off. This unique schedule is perfect for individuals who want to make a difference while maintaining work-life balance. As a Weekend Baylor Caregiver, you will provide high-quality, in-home care to seniors, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. You will build strong relationships with clients while delivering essential daily support.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal)
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work long shifts (16 hours) with attentiveness and professionalism
- Strong communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable working in homes with pets (including cats)
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Observe and report changes in client condition
