About The Position
The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines. As a member of the Assembly Team, the Assembler will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of company products, all while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 35 pounds regularly.
- Ability to operate a computer and other electronic equipment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence, as well as effectively communicate with others within the organization.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite, desired.
Responsibilities
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners.
- Uses engineering prints/drawings, routing sheets, settings specifications, required hand tools and fixtures, and test benches to assist in assembly operation.
- Demonstrates ability to detect discrepancies about parts or documentation.
- Assembles parts per print; then packages and moves the products to the backflushing area.
- Set up and tests assembled products and sub-assemblies per specifications.
