Requirements

• Passion for working with seniors, especially those with dementia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be flexible with scheduling, particularly on weekends
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in activity planning or senior care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and facilitating engaging activities tailored to residents with memory impairments
• Support residents during activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents participating in activities
• Collaborate with team members to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences
• Observe and document residents’ responses to activities, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff
