Weekday Personal Care Aide in Cambridge
About The Position
Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as In-Home Certified Care Aides/Caregivers. We provide quality home care and home health services to clients across the Boston suburbs. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those dealing with medical conditions and age-related challenges, while giving peace of mind to their families. We are a growing team of professionals dedicated to excellence in client care. We are looking for a caregiver that can support a family member in Cambridge on weekdays from 9am - 2pm.
Requirements
- Have Certified Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (preferable). If you don't have this, we can help you with it.
- Documented experience or previous experience (preferable)
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to internet/mobile phone
Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
