About The Position
Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate, responsive, and reliable Weekday On-Call RN to support patients and the team during evening and overnight hours. Inspire Hospice is a mission-driven organization dedicated to delivering compassionate hospice care that brings peace, dignity, and support. As the Weekday On-Call RN, you will provide calm, expert care to hospice patients and their loved ones from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Your role involves responding to urgent needs, providing education, and offering reassurance during the quiet hours.
Requirements
- Current Georgia RN license
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of clinical nursing experience
- Hospice or home health experience
- Strong communication skills
- Clinical competence
- A commitment to hospice philosophy
Responsibilities
- Provide education and emotional support on end-of-life care, disease progression, self-care, and nutrition
- Deliver hands-on nursing care based on physician orders
- Collaborate with the full hospice team to ensure consistency and quality
- Be available and responsive to patient/family needs throughout your on-call window
