About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Seattle. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding flexible babysitting job with supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth. The pay is $21.30 - $25/hour + Overtime Pay. Most shifts occur between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with typical shifts being 4-6 hours. Monday-Friday availability is preferred. Assignments vary based on family needs, your availability, and scheduling preferences. Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, though opportunities may occasionally include older children. Pay dates are every two weeks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience
- Love working with infants and toddlers
- Dependable and professional
- Communicate well with parents and children
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Can provide references (At least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character)
- At least 18 years old
Nice To Haves
- Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.
