About The Position

A filmmaker representing American Wedding Group shoots structured, flowing wedding videos using professional DSLR/DSLR hybrid equipment. Footage should be cleanly and conservatively shot, with in-camera editing so the video is ready to send to the customer immediately. Filmmakers must work discreetly and unobtrusively while capturing the footage needed. They act as observers for clients, recording details of the wedding day that clients may miss and preserving a lasting record of the occasion.

Requirements

• Proven shooting track record, with samples showcasing shooting style.
• Own high-quality DSLR/DSLR hybrid equipment, including a backup camera, on-board lighting, wireless lavaliere, interview microphone, tripod, and slider and/or gimbal.
• Strong in-camera editing skills.
• Computer proficiency, particularly the ability to back up footage to an external hard drive before sending the original copy via digital download.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
