Requirements

  • Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of the resort.
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance of Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa.
  • The Wedding Sales Manager is expected to visit the resort approximately once per month, strategically coordinating multiple site tours and client appointments during each visit whenever possible.
  • Additional on-site visits may be required to support business demands, wedding shows, open houses, familiarization events, or key client opportunities.
  • Responsiveness to client inquiries, scheduled appointments, site tours, and business needs is required.
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required for wedding shows, networking events, open houses, and prospective client tours.

Nice To Haves

  • This role is hybrid and requires occasional travel to the resort for site tours, client meetings, wedding shows, and other business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive wedding revenue through proactive prospecting, relationship development, virtual sales presentations, site tours, and contract generation.
  • Focus primarily on new business development and sales conversion, partnering closely with Catering and Event Management teams.
  • Actively solicit new wedding and social event business through prospecting, referrals, networking, wedding shows, industry partnerships, and lead generation activities.
  • Respond promptly to all wedding and social event inquiries with the goal of converting leads into contracted business.
  • Conduct virtual consultations, discovery calls, venue presentations, and sales meetings with prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wedding planners, event professionals, and key referral partners throughout New England and feeder markets.
  • Maintain an active follow-up system and sales pipeline utilizing the property's CRM and sales systems.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales agreements.
  • Achieve established revenue, booking pace, and sales activity goals.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize wedding revenue through guest rooms, food and beverage minimums, venue rental fees, and resort experiences.
  • Conduct on-property site tours for prospective wedding and social event clients.
  • Coordinate site tours and client appointments to maximize efficiency during scheduled on-property visits.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of resort accommodations, event venues, amenities, activities, and wedding offerings.
  • Represent Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa at wedding shows, networking events, open houses, and promotional opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Catering, Event Management, and Resort Operations teams to ensure a seamless transition of contracted business.
  • Participate in virtual sales meetings, strategy sessions, and operational meetings as needed.
  • Communicate client expectations and contractual commitments clearly to internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline management records.
