About The Position

Muslim Aid USA (MAUSA) is a faith-based American international charity that provides vital support to communities affected by natural disasters, conflict, and chronic poverty. MAUSA also addresses hunger, disease, illiteracy, discrimination, debt, and lack of skills or opportunity. Muslim Aid USA is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Webmaster to lead the development, performance, and optimization of our digital ecosystem. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of our website and related platforms, including front-end and back-end development, UX and UI design, donation flow optimization, and email template systems. The ideal candidate is both technical and strategic, with a strong understanding of modern web technologies, user experience best practices, and digital fundraising infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our digital presence is fast, secure, scalable, and conversion-focused. The Webmaster models compassion, integrity, accountability, and service; upholds Islamic philanthropic principles and ethical stewardship; and fosters a collaborative, inclusive work environment grounded in humility and shared purpose.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7+ years of experience in web development and website management
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
  • Experience with back-end development and CMS platforms such as WordPress, headless CMS, or similar
  • Experience managing donation platforms and nonprofit fundraising tools
  • Proficiency in email development using platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or similar
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and web performance optimization
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with React or modern JavaScript frameworks preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred
  • Experience working in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with digital fundraising campaigns and emergency response launches
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization methodologies
  • Knowledge of API integrations and third-party platform connections
  • Certifications in UX/UI, front-end development, web accessibility, Google Analytics, Salesforce, or modern web technologies are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Muslim Aid USA website, ensuring performance, uptime, security, and scalability
  • Lead front-end and back-end development across web properties
  • Maintain and optimize CMS architecture, content structure, and publishing workflows
  • Manage integrations with third-party platforms including CRM, donation tools, and analytics systems
  • Implement ongoing improvements to site speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
  • Design and implement intuitive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences
  • Optimize donation flows, landing pages, and campaign microsites to improve conversion rates
  • Conduct A/B testing and user behavior analysis to inform design and functionality decisions
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all digital touchpoints
  • Manage and optimize donation forms, checkout flows, and payment integrations
  • Collaborate with development and finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Improve donor experience across one-time, recurring, and campaign-based giving
  • Support rapid deployment of emergency appeals and campaign landing pages
  • Build and maintain responsive email templates for campaigns, appeals, and automation
  • Ensure seamless integration between website, CRM, and email marketing platforms
  • Optimize email design for deliverability, accessibility, and engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing team on campaign execution and digital journeys
  • Oversee and evolve the organization’s web tech stack
  • Manage hosting environments, domain configurations, and deployment processes
  • Ensure best practices in version control, staging environments, and QA testing
  • Maintain site security, backups, and compliance with data privacy standards
  • Implement and manage tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and heat mapping tools
  • Monitor and report on website performance, user behavior, and conversion metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve digital performance across campaigns
  • Work closely with marketing, fundraising, and external vendors to execute campaigns
  • Manage web-related projects, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools
  • Support internal teams with technical needs and digital best practices
