About The Position

StackAdapt is seeking a Web Marketing Manager to enhance its website, transforming it into a premier marketing and conversion tool. This individual contributor role will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of impactful web experiences aimed at strengthening the brand, boosting conversions, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of how content, user experience, and search engine optimization (SEO) contribute to achieving results. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to grasp business objectives, translating audience needs into engaging web experiences, and developing messaging strategies that foster engagement and conversion. Responsibilities include independently managing web projects from conception to launch and ongoing optimization, identifying areas for improvement through content optimization, SEO, user behavior analysis, and performance data. This position requires close collaboration with Content Strategy, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Design, Development, and other cross-functional teams to create web experiences that yield measurable outcomes. Key attributes for success include the ability to balance strategy with execution, navigate ambiguity, and independently manage multiple priorities. StackAdapt operates as a remote-first company, welcoming candidates from anywhere in Canada and the US.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web content strategy, content marketing, web copywriting, or digital experience roles.
  • Exceptional writer and editor with strong editorial judgment and the ability to craft compelling narratives for a variety of audiences, channels, and stages of the buyer journey.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, information architecture, UX principles, SEO, and conversion-focused content design.
  • Hands-on experience using web analytics and reporting tools to measure performance and inform decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and how search, content, and user experience work together to drive results.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing projects from concept through execution with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms, such as WordPress or HubSpot.
  • Curious about AI and emerging technologies and understands how they can be applied to improve web and content performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting localization and multilingual web experiences.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, adtech, martech, or technology companies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Crazy Egg, Semrush, HubSpot, and AI tools, such as ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve website messaging and content strategies that align with business goals, audience needs, and campaign objectives.
  • Create compelling, conversion-focused web copy that simplifies complex concepts and communicates StackAdapt's value clearly and effectively.
  • Translate business objectives, customer insights, and audience needs into high-performing web experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Independently own web initiatives from concept through launch, driving content strategy, stakeholder alignment, copy development, reviews, and optimization.
  • Partner with designers and developers to bring new pages and experiences to life.
  • Continuously optimize website content and user journeys to improve engagement, conversion, SEO performance, and overall website effectiveness.
  • Use web analytics, heatmaps, SEO insights, and user behavior data to identify opportunities and inform content and optimization strategies.
  • Support monthly and quarterly website reporting and provide recommendations based on key findings.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to support localization efforts and improve landing page performance across global markets.
  • Explore and implement AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency, content creation, personalization, and web performance.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, AI innovations, and evolving best practices in content strategy and user experience.
