We are seeking a Web Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites. This role focuses on end-to-end website development, including planning, design, implementation, and optimization, with an emphasis on Joomla-based platforms and custom development. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient developer who can work independently within a small team while delivering high-quality, user-friendly web solutions.

Requirements

• Experience working with Joomla CMS
• Experience with end-to-end website planning and development
• Strong programming experience in PHP
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with custom code development and website customization
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation
• Understanding of UX principles and user-centered design
• Ability to work independently as a sole web developer within a small team
• Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
• Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
• Experience working in Agile or fast-paced development environments
• Familiarity with web performance optimization and analytics tools
• Experience integrating third-party tools or APIs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain websites using Joomla and custom development approaches
• Lead end-to-end website development efforts, from planning and architecture through deployment and maintenance
• Develop and customize web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement custom code and functionality to meet business and user requirements
• Apply SEO best practices to improve site visibility and performance
• Design and enhance user experiences using UX principles and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance challenges
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective web solutions
• Manage website updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
