About The Position

As a Web Developer in the Software Engineering department, you will design, build, and maintain modern, user-centric web applications. This salaried, full-time role is intended for a developer with approximately five years of experience and strong GUI expertise, who can work across the front-end stack to deliver high-quality, performant, and accessible interfaces. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to implement responsive, scalable solutions using Vue.js (preferably Vue 3), Tailwind CSS, and modern JavaScript. The role involves turning complex requirements into elegant, maintainable code while following web development best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of professional experience as a Web Developer or Front-End Engineer.
  • Professional experience with Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), including component-based architecture and state management patterns.
  • Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and responsive design techniques for mobile-first, cross-device interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling, such as Axios or Fetch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with a strong grasp of core web concepts and browser behavior.
  • Demonstrated GUI experience and a strong eye for detail in layout, typography, and visual consistency.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative workflows such as branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools for diagnosing front-end bottlenecks.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex front-end issues across environments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, including experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.Net, Python, and AJAX.
  • Implement pixel-perfect, component-based UIs with Tailwind CSS while following design systems and style guidelines.
  • Build and optimize reusable Vue components, composables, and modules to support scalable front-end architecture.
  • Integrate front- and back-end applications with RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous requests and data flows using tools such as Axios or Fetch.
  • Work with UX/UI designers to turn wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes into production-ready interfaces.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive behavior, and accessibility across devices and screen sizes.
  • Optimize application performance, including load times, rendering efficiency, and front-end responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues involving layout, styling, and API integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and follow coding standards and best practices.
  • Work with backend engineers to define and refine API contracts, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Contribute to front-end build and deployment processes using modern tooling such as module bundlers, task runners, and package managers.
  • Keep up to date with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and apply them where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with product and stakeholder teams to estimate effort, plan sprints, and deliver features on schedule.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for components, features, and front-end workflows.
