About The Position

Advantage builds the platforms that welcome new students and employees at more than four hundred colleges, universities, and organizations, including Harvard, UCLA, and Florida State. This internship offers the opportunity to work on the platform our clients use every day, alongside the developers who built it. It is designed as a path to a full-time job, serving as the on-ramp to the first level of our career framework, Developer I. While an offer is not guaranteed, the hiring process is conducted with that outcome in mind.

Requirements

Currently writing C# and .NET in coursework, projects, or a previous internship.
Working front end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Comfort in Visual Studio, or a willingness to get comfortable quickly.
A proactive approach to asking questions when stuck.

Any previously shipped work, even if it broke.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain features in C# and .NET on our production platform, with real code review.
Perform front end work in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript on interfaces students actually see.
Work in Umbraco, the content system behind our platform.
Write queries and learn the data behind the product, in SQL Server.
Learn accessibility properly, adhering to WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
