About The Position

Advanced Technologies is seeking a full time Web Developer / Graphic Designer /Document Accessibility Specialist to provide support and maintenance services for existing client's, Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), website.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Two (2) to three (3) years of professional design experience
• Portfolio of strong creative work
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Responsibilities

• Develop and create the look, layout, and features of the ALSDE website as defined by ALSDE
• Provide support and maintenance Services for existing ALSDE
• Development of new website features and functionality as defined by
• Remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards
• Perform any other closely related professional services typically associated with website development, maintenance, and support
• Writing and editing content
• Document remediation
• Solving code problems
• Training
• Preparation of documentation
• Other problem-solving tasks
• Designing webpage layout
• Other duties may be assigned
