About The Position

We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer with Shopify experience who is passionate about building secure e-commerce applications from the ground up. Strong development skills with Shopify Plus and deep knowledge of Shopify APIs is a must. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of developers working on highly visible websites for well-known consumer brands such as Master Lock, Moen, Therma-Tru and Larson. In this role you will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required
• Deep knowledge of Liquid, REACT and Shopify APIs
• Minimum of 8 years of web development experience is required
• Preferred minimum of 5 years B2C or B2B e-commerce development
• Must be familiar with Content Management Systems such as Bloomreach and Hybris
• General understanding of full stack build processes
• Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD development
• Proven track record of successful, consumer-facing website implementation projects.
• Strong documentation, communication, and project coordination capabilities
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: Commerce Platforms: Shopify, Commercetools, etc.
• CMS: Bloomreach CMS, Sitecore, WordPress, Embraco
• API: Web Services, Web API, any other API platforms
• CDNs: Akamai, Cloudflare, etc
• PIM & DAM: Widen, Salsify, Stibo
• Release Management: JIRA, Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops enhancements and new application functions based on a solid understanding of Shopify Plus eCommerce and other technologies to achieve business goals across multiple tech stacks
• Recommends and implements Shopify features and capabilities to maximize performance
• Leads efforts to identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovations by collaborating closely with business partners and vendors.
• Develops preliminary and detail architecture documentation and design specifications
• Leads and/or participates in agile ceremonies such as story grooming, sprint planning, etc., may include project leader and administration responsibilities
• Integrates world-class third-party asset management, search and other solutions
• Provides application support including technical problem resolution and bug fixes
• Ensures e-commerce applications are highly available through configuration and tuning, load testing and monitoring
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues in real-time
• Ensures deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry’s best practices.
• Stays updated on brand and commerce advancements to continually improve the architecture and design of e-commerce platforms
