About The Position

The Web Designer at KNIGHT FEDERAL SOLUTIONS INC is responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, web technologies, and security protocols to ensure that all web solutions are both aesthetically pleasing and secure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design, with the ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive and engaging designs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must have at least 8 years of professional experience in web design, including a proven track record of designing and implementing user-centric websites.
• Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other industry-standard tools.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, content creators, and marketing specialists, to produce cohesive and visually appealing web designs.
• Must have an active/current TS/SCI clearance and be able to pass a CI Polygraph.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that function seamlessly across various devices and platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly websites that align with client specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, establish project timelines, and deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Ensure all designs are optimized for various devices and browsers, maintaining a consistent look and feel across platforms.
• Implement best practices in web design and development to enhance user experience and accessibility.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security protocols to incorporate into design strategies.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and developers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, including maintaining an active/current TS/SCI and passing a CI Poly.
