About The Position

Hexcel is currently seeking a Web Conversion Print Operator for our Casa Grande, AZ, USA location. This position is on Grave shift (11:00PM to 7:00AM, Monday – Friday + O/T as required) and pays a $1.75 per hour shift premium. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Sets up and operates the #7 Printline and the 335 Printline. Processes treated aluminum foil. Prints, sheets, and applies adhesive to Nomex, Korex, and glass pre-preg. Obtains raw materials pertinent to #7 Printline or 335 Printline operation from respective areas. Monitors print line operation to assure adhesive is applied in a consistent manner. Records SPC data during process.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience required preferably in manufacturing.
  • Must be proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.
  • Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Eligible candidate must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
